Released on Friday, Feb 20th, 2009.- Automatically syncs with iTunes. Manual sync and cache no longer necessary. Syncing is seamlessly performed in the background.
- Works directly with the iTunes database rather than iTunes itself, for faster and more reliable performance. Loading the music library only takes a blink, searches are instant.
- New Core Animation fullscreen menu
- New split view allows the track list to be visible at all times
- New info bar for displaying current track details. Ticker uses less CPU.
- Fetches missing Quicklook artwork from iTunes where available
- Checks with iTunes for artwork of other tracks of album, if current track has none
- Desktop artwork can be positioned anywhere on any screen. The artwork and track details are flipped and aligned automatically to match the nearest screen corner
- Added option to prevent cache management. This avoids the annoying artwork reloading on application activate, but will increase the applications memory usage. We do not recommed disabling cache management on large libraries.
- Playlists popup menu displays playlists icons
- Shortcut recorder supports the new F-keys on the Aluminum keyboard
- Added Shuffle Library option
